Child Safety Policy

EnglishAcer is committed to safe online learning for minors. These rules are non-negotiable.

1. Parent consent

Every student account requires a registered parent/guardian who provides explicit consent at signup, including agreement to these policies and terms.

2. Batch-only live sessions

All live video sessions for minors are conducted in groups (8–10 students) with a qualified instructor. No unsupervised 1:1 video sessions between staff and minors.

3. Camera policy

Camera-on is expected for participation. Reasonable exceptions (connectivity, anxiety) are handled case-by-case with parent notification.

4. Recordings

Session recordings are off by default. If enabled, explicit parent opt-in is required per session or cohort.

5. Platform safety

• Google Meet "Ask to join" / lobby enabled for all sessions
• Meet links visible to enrolled parents only, time-gated before session start
• No sharing of student contact details between peers without parent consent

6. Reporting

Parents may report concerns to hello@englishacer.com. We investigate within 48 hours and may suspend accounts pending review.
